Forecast Discussion

Space Launch Delta 45

High pressure currently over the Deep South will slide east over the next 24 hours. Winds will remain light and veer from the northwest today to the northeast by tomorrow morning. On launch day, the high pressure will be centered over the Carolinas and extend down into Florida. This will result in an increase in wind speeds but also maintain the dry airmass and mostly clear skies over the Spaceport. The only concern for launch on Wednesday is the liftoff winds.
