Forecast Discussion

Space Launch Delta 45

There is onshore flow across the Space Coast today, which could bring a few morning showers, but chances subside as the east coast sea breeze moves inland by early afternoon. The tropical easterly wave is nearing the coast of Georgia, bringing added moisture from North Florida to South Carolina. Tuesday should continue the favorable conditions at the Spaceport, with morning coastal showers, but afternoon convection will remain mostly inland. The primary concerns are the Cumulus and Anvil Cloud Rules associated with inland thunderstorm activity. On Wednesday, conditions should be much the same as the ridge axis begins to move south, making Spaceport winds more southerly as well. The primary weather concerns Wednesday remain the Cumulus and Anvil Cloud Rules.
