Forecast Discussion
Space Launch Delta 45
Dry and noticeably cooler air behind Ian brings an end to our summer convective season, with plenty of sunshine and light winds expected Saturday through Monday. For launch day Tue, a low developing off the coast of the mid-Atlantic states will drag a shallow cold front through central Florida. This brings low clouds and a few showers with wind speeds from the north gusting near 22kt. Therefore, the primary concern is the Cumulus Cloud Rule. For backup day Wed, the front looks to push south of us, but continued onshore flow from the northeast will keep low topped shower chances.
