Forecast Discussion

Space Launch Delta 45

High pressure over southeastern US will gradually be replaced by a stronger area of high pressure spilling out of the Central Plains over the next few days, re-enforcing the cool and relatively dry airmass across the Spaceport. This will allow the local pressure gradient to relax, with breezy northeasterly winds continuing to ease today into tomorrow. Dry and sunny weather will continue, limiting the threat for Atlantic showers into the primary launch window Thursday evening. While passing low topped cumulus or brief Atlantic sprinkle cannot completely be ruled out, the threat will be very low for this and any other weather concerns. A very similar pattern is expected for a Friday evening attempt with a few more cirrus clouds overhead.
