Forecast Discussion
Space Launch Delta 45
A weak cold front over the Gulf Coast states will move into the Florida peninsula today but will weaken and dry out as it approaches. As winds turn onshore today some low-topped showers could develop but will be very isolated, as there is little moisture available to draw from. Winds will turn from southeast to southwesterly this afternoon and into this evening pushing any shower activity away from the coast. Nevertheless, the Cumulus Cloud Rule remains the only concern. By Monday morning, the front and associated upper trough will pass through the area and usher in dry air once again and very favorable conditions for the backup launch window.
