Forecast Discussion

Space Launch Delta 45

Weather is not expected to be a great concern for this particular mission. Winds have swung around to the east and should continue to veer to the southeast during the afternoons and likely to the southwest during the overnight hours. The bulk of active weather is expected to remain well north of Florida over the next 4 to 5 days, creating favorable weather conditions for the Spaceport Area. It is possible that we could see a few cumulus clouds floating around during the day but at this time, it does not appear that they will pose a particular problem for launch operations. Should there be a 24-hour delay, weather conditions will be nearly identical and should remain favorable for launch operations. Again, the primary concern would be from isolated cumulus clouds.
