Forecast Discussion

Space Launch Delta 45

Today into tomorrow morning we will remain in a similar pattern with continued southeasterly flow. Hurricane Ida will further strengthen in the Gulf, but it will be far enough west to allow moisture levels to marginally decrease. Isolated coastal showers are still likely early tomorrow morning, but lower in coverage compared to the last several days. Thus, the primary concerns will be the Cumulus Cloud Rule and Flight Through Precipitation. The back-up window early Tuesday morning, drier air will move into place as winds weaken and shift more southerly. A more typical summertime pattern is expected with mostly inland showers and storms dissipating after sunset. Conditions will be more favorable with the Cumulus Cloud Rule as the primary concern.
