Forecast Discussion

Space Launch Delta 45

A return to a more active weather pattern commences today as a frontal boundary sinks into North Florida yielding scattered showers and thunderstorms during the late afternoon and evening. This front will move a bit farther south on Tuesday, before stalling out across Central Florida midweek. This will lead to an unsettled pattern of showers and storms primarily each afternoon and evening, but with the close proximity of the front, some of this activity and associated clouds may be sustained through the night and morning hours. The front is expected to lift back to the north late in the work week ahead of an approaching easterly wave moving in from the Atlantic over the weekend which will bring higher coverage of showers to the area at that time.
