Forecast Discussion

Space Launch Delta 45

A front will approach the Spaceport from the north on Thursday, with conditions trending drier and only a small possibility of an isolated shower Thursday morning. High pressure across the Northeast and the approaching front will create breezy conditions Thursday, with gusts around 20 mph possible. Additionally, a layer of mid-level clouds may linger across the area Thursday morning. This will create the possibility of the Cumulus Cloud Rule, and Thick Cloud Layers Rule being violated during the primary launch window. The front will dig south across central FL early Friday morning. Cumulus clouds and isolated showers will create a small chance of the Cumulus Cloud Rule being violated during the backup launch window.
