Forecast Discussion
Space Launch Delta 45
As Hurricane Rafael continues to move westward across the Gulf of Mexico, high pressure will build back in across the peninsula bringing drier air with it. The only concern for Thursday’s window will be any low-topped cumulus that may track directly over the launch complex. For Friday, a weak cold front approaches the panhandle but is expected to stall north of the area. The only concern for the backup day will be the Cumulus Cloud Rule associated with isolated coastal showers.
