Forecast Discussion
Space Launch Delta 45
Cold and windy conditions have developed across the Spaceport after a reinforcing cold front pushed through the region last night. Wind speeds will decrease as the day progresses today into tonight as a strong surface high pressure system builds over the Florida peninsula. This high will remain in control throughout the week, leading to weaker winds and mostly clear skies. Very favorable launch weather conditions are expected for both the primary and backup launch opportunities. The only watch item is solar activity, with an increased risk of X-ray flares and elevated proton flux.
