Forecast Discussion

Space Launch Delta 45

Cold and windy conditions will continue across the Spaceport today. While peak wind gusts may reach near 50 fps this morning, surface high pressure building across the Southeast by the middle of the week will help create weaker winds and favorable weather conditions across the Spaceport during the primary and back up launch opportunities. Winds will diminish across the recovery site on Wednesday, and although waves will remain elevated, they are expected to continue to lower through Thursday. Increased X-Ray Flares and Proton Flux activity will create a moderate risk of solar activity during both primary and back up launch opportunities.
