Forecast Discussion

Space Launch Delta 45

Forecast Discussion: Cool, dry conditions expected today and tomorrow with rapidly increasing moisture overnight Saturday ahead of another quickly moving front that is expected to pass through the Space Coast on Sunday afternoon. Scattered showers and considerable cloudiness will lead to higher chances of violation for the Cumulus Cloud and Thick Cloud Rules as the front moves through the cape near the opening of the launch window. Behind the front skies will rapidly clear, so the only concern by the end of the window will be Liftoff Winds. For the backup day, high pressure builds back in once again, with no concerns for violations due to weather.
