Forecast Discussion
Forecast Discussion: The subtropical ridge axis is expected to be south of, or over, Central Florida for the next several days. This pattern will bring light southwesterly flow, allowing the east coast seabreeze to develop each day with the late afternoon/evening seabreeze collision, and the highest storm chances, favoring the eastern side of the peninsula. The morning launch windows are expected to fall between the end of evening storms and this afternoon activity, while the light offshore flow keeps Atlantic showers generally offshore. However, there will be a small chance for these showers to develop closer to the coast. Additionally, the mid-morning ends of the windows may see an increase in the threat of daytime heating leading to shower development. Both of these factors will bring a small threat of Cumulus Cloud Rule violations.
