Forecast Discussion: Weather conditions are expected to be very favorable for both the primary and back-up launch windows. Heading into the start of the week, the Atlantic ridge axis will be situated south of the Spaceport, maintaining the low-level southwesterly flow over East Central Florida. Additionally, another round of Saharan dust will likely move by Monday night, bringing drier than average conditions through at least the middle of the week. Given this pattern, any showers and thunderstorms that develop over the eastern half of the peninsula in the late afternoon and evening will move offshore and quickly dissipate during the overnight hours. This will lead to excellent conditions for the early morning launch windows on Tuesday and Wednesday, with light westerly winds and mostly clear skies. The only concern is the negligible risk of a Cumulus Cloud Rule violation.
