Forecast Discussion

Space Launch Delta 45

High pressure will build to our northeast today, and gradually slide eastward through the week. Plentiful sunshine and pleasant weather will prevail. However, a tightening pressure gradient around the high will keep brisk flow of 15-20 mph. As a result, the primary concern during the launch early Wednesday morning will be Liftoff Winds. Wednesday through early Thursday, the high pressure ridge will slide farther eastward into the Atlantic, and quiet weather with breezy flow will continue across the Spaceport. Winds will shift to the southeast. The primary concern for the backup window will continue to be Liftoff Winds.
